Looking for gear for my discipline priest and the zygor is directed to look for Discipline gear. Why does it say this when looking in the AH

[Thistlefur Bands of Fiery Wrath] (mage gear) my addon says this is 848.68% upgrade to my[Raincaller Cuffs of Spirit].

Can someone help?

If you go into the item score settings of the guide viewer and remove the spell healing weight that should fix it. Unfortunately Blizzard does not pass on which spell power a stat is and they just pass on a generic spell power stat number so the guide viewer is not able to know that it is recommending the fire spell damage instead of healing power. The other option is to just ignore any gear recommendation when it has spell power on it as the spell power is a higher weight than int or spirit and will almost always tell you that any kind of spell power will be better than what you have.
