The npcs it says to go to dont give quest.

I am playing my demon hunter and loaded up all the legion leveling guides based on the different areas. I have spent like 3 hours going to each and every initial npc the guide says. When i get there none of them have given me a quest yet the guide says accept quest from so and so. What am i doing wrong?

You must use the Demon Hunter Intro & Artifacts guide to get the different zones unlocked. Just follow that guide and it will get you to where you want to go.

Well I tried starting the Demon Hunter Intro & Artifacts and this is where it goes.


Now I checked the scouting map just to make sure and it shows me missions I can take/completed. Assuming the green checkmarks are meaning I completed this part I skipped to the next step that wasnt completely finished which took me to this.



I have went to the main hall where it says to talk to Sky Admiral Rogers just to double check everything and he is no longer where it says he should be. Assuming this corresponds with the fact it says I turned in Stormheim already that is fine. There is no way to accept the quest "A Royal Summons" which it says to take. So assuming perhaps I did this quest or it isnt neccesary I went to the next step. The next step gives me the following message about reaching the end of the quests.



This would tell me i have finished the Demon Hunter Intro & Artifacts guide which is where you said to start. Now the last step stated i turned in and completed 'Stormheim' so I went ahead and loaded Leveling > Legion (100-110) > Stormheim.Under Stormheim the first step said to talk to Dread-Rider Cullen and Accept 'The Ranger Lord' like below.



When I spoke with him there are no quests being offered



Then I skipped to the next step assuming I completed that and it told me to speak to the apothecary. I tried speaking with the Apothecary and there isnt even a chat dialog. I skipped ahead again to the next uncompleted step by right clicking and it took me to step 15 saying talk to Huginn and accept 'The Ancient Trials' so I went to were it said Huginn was and he is not there.
I goto the next step and next step and its just dead end after dead end.
I get to step 24 and it says to click the Stormforged Grapple Launcher which is actually there so I accept the quest. It doesnt goto the next step automatically so i just hit next to go to step 25.



Thinking great im actually getting somewhere productive with the guide addon So I follow the "Follow the path up" instructions and then boom, here we go again with dead ends..No Havi's Test quest



I see the guide says to turn in "The Ancient Trials".
This is the step on 15 where it said to Talk to Huginn and he wasnt there. So I skip ahead by right clicking again and it lands on 44 and says to talk to Yotnar and accept "A Trial of Might" and ofcourse he isnt there either.


Would you so kindly instruct me on what i need to do to get the guides to work?

Go back to the step for talking to Sky Admiral Rogers in the intro guide. Try waiting around for a bit to see if he spawns and if he doesn't then submit a GM ticket. I found a blue post where he is listed in as one of the known bugs in the game. If you can't get him to spawn then go back to 175 and try to go to the other zone for now.

When you're on the Sky Admiral Rogers step try hold Ctrl + Alt while clicking the next step to see if you can do any of the steps immediately after that one.

The sky admiral step is the last step. if I ctrl+alt click next step its all blank steps and if i hover the green bar it just shows error(). Might I add I already have my artifact weapon which it seems like thats all the Demon Hunter Intro & Artifact is for... I just want to continue on the legion quest line.

The Intro & Artifacts also contains all of the quests for unlocking the zones. Right now it seems that by you having chosen one of those quest lines to unlock a zone but the next one not being available has messed up the guide.

So with Zygor being an adaptive guide addon, how do I get it to adapt to the quests..

SURELY zygor guides weren't only intended for 100% new players to play the WHOLE game in the order the quest guide was written.

We don't expect you to do the zones in any order. It's setup so that the intro guide will have you pick a zone and then lead you thru the quests to unlock that zone. When you're done with that zone it will load the intro guide again for you to pick the next zone you want to quest in. The leveling path is your choice.

You're having issues because of a quest not being available that should be there. Try doing a full guide wipe/reset. That will ensure that your guide files are there (nothing corrupted) and resetting the guide viewer never hurts when trying to figure out an issue.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the installer client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game and see if that fixed it
