Zygor Guides

How do I abandon a quest in zygor that I can't complete in game? I "some people need killing" quest but I can't find the prospector that I am supposed to kill. I abandoned the quest on the wow quest tab but my zygor is still trying to finish it. I want to go onto the next quest in the region.
