I can tell a lot of work has already been into this little guide, and I'm grateful for what's been done, but it needs to be revisited and polished as it's unfortunately, well, a mess. Can you guys put it on your to-do list please to have someone work on this and polish it up?

Honestly, and I promise I'm not just trying to give you a lazy answer here, I recommend you have someone on your team follow the guide as-is and work through it themselves. That way they'll see and understand the things that need to be polished/fixed/changed/added far better than I can explain it here.
