The dialog that suggested the update contained mostly red when relating to what stats would change.

It looks like the system got confused for what to show you as an upgrade. I can see in the log entries on line 41 it was rejected as an upgrade, but above that on line 37 the Steamfury Loop was found to be an upgrade. Looks to me like it was supposed to be giving you the pop-up for the Steamfury Loop upgrade but for some reason (unknown to me) it showed you the wrist items. Will have to let the dev team dig into this one more to find out why it did that.
