I have been using Zygor for a long time. Zygor has been great. The current waypoint system really does suck now. It seems to takes you way off course and around in circles. If you stray off course a little bit, it has you go back to that waypoint you missed instead on just moving on to the next waypoint. Question is there a way to just have the way point arrow point to the destination? This would work much better.

Thanks. Is there a change log posted anywhere so that we can watch for when it's fixed? I've found that I'm more annoyed with the way point issue than anything else at this point.

hi in the new version i agree with what has been said about the navigation also there are way too many map markers and they are on top of eachother. and u get lead around in circles and stuff like that. also a lot of the navigation getting stuck on the first or previous direction que and not registering that you have already done that direction stuff. if u turn off map markers it is okay when it comest to visual clutter. but map markers used to be better not clogged together for short distances and not so many at once in same spot.

We have already started working on going thru the guides to drastically reduce the number of travel lines to address the problem with too many waypoints for a step.

Hmm, could you please describe what you mean with as much detail as possible? That will help us take a look and try to figure out what's going on, to fix it. Thanks.

well it is an issue that has been around in general for quite sometime. whenever you reach for example point x that zygor tells u to go to it doesn't register that it has happend and doesn't give you the new directions to point y. in addition there in the bfa leveling stuff has been a lot of sudden leave building messages probably because it has expected you to use a hearthstone but haven't or something. a similar issue has always been very common with leaving caves ones and the addon becoming stuck at the leave this cave you are in for the quest navigation pointers but not registering you have left this bug is now happening in the open world.

                    Separate issue with the updater
Also my zygor guides updater is stuck at new auction data avaible press update and nothing happens. so it always says update and then an actual guide update comes along and it updates that fine but it still says new auction data avaible and the button still says update.

We currently have the AH data throttled to prevent the server from crashing. This is causing the client to not be able to get the data right away and keeps showing it as an update available for the AH data. If you leave it running in the background it should eventually get the data. We are working on ways to improve the server so that there is no throttling needed.

The leveling guides worked almost spotlessly for me. There were a couple quest issues but in general it ran great for me alliance side. If you ever have something that doesn't update automatically you can always right click it in zygor and choose "skip this step" or "mark as complete" and it will proceed to the next step flawlessly.

I was the 4th in my guild to get 120 and only because I was solo and the top 3 were in a party. Thanks for the great leveling guide! Looking forward to further BFA guides.

The navigation system having to hit those way points exactly was really annoying, My wife is having a really hard time with it and the white circles are just clutter on the minimap and block the nodes, but if you dont have them up trying to figure out the waypoint system is frustrating, the old system worked fine.

Thank you, the auction data issue is what I was going to report as well.

Glad to hear that the waypoint system is being worked on. I has literally had my husband and I running in circles if we didn't run exactly over a waypoint. He started ignoring the navigation system entirely and I started using the circles vs the arrow to figure out which way to go. Saw the minimap circles were made more transparent; this is a great improvement over the green bubbles or even the white open circles.

There have been a handful of instances where the new waypoint system has been really helpful if a destination could only be accessed from a specific narrow approach. In almost every other instance it has been extraordinarily annoying. The pathing is almost never the shortest path and the the radius of each point is far too small. If I'm standing on top of a later waypoint or am closer to a specific waypoint it should update to show the next in line rather than requiring me to run out of the way to an older point or click the minimap to get it to update. Rather than using what feels like a 100 points to navigate across an open field the waypoint spam should be reserved for quests requiring a very specific approach.
