At BlizzCon 2026 this past weekend, Blizzard finally confirmed the long-rumored existence of “Classic Plus” with the announcement of World of Warcraft: Forever. The new version will keep many of the core mechanics of Classic WoW while expanding on them with new quests and zones. These additions will branch away from the game’s established continuity, exploring alternate storylines and “what if” scenarios within the Warcraft universe.

This new version of the game will sit alongside Retail and Classic, and will be released on November 4th, 2026.

The beta for WoW: Forever begins September 17th, and work is already underway by the Zygor Team to develop guides for this new version of the game. Due to the announced level restrictions in beta, we may be limited in what we’ll be able to cover initially, but we will do our best to have as much content available on day one as possible and will work quickly post-launch to complete anything that could not be finished in the beta.

That means there are no plans to have guides ready for the beta as we want to ensure they are working fully for launch. We appreciate all the requests for you guys wanting to beta test our guides and your enthusiasm to stick with Zygor for this next chapter of WoW.

As Always, these new guides will be added as part of the Zygor Elite subscription at no additional charge. All you will need is an active Zygor Elite subscription and you will be able to access these guides at launch, which will be ahead of the games official launch.
