This Week In Zygor – May 2nd 2025

Thanks for coming back for another blog post for the start of May. We have our Classic Cataclysm Alliance TBC overhaul launching along with this patch with the horde version following shortly after. Beyond that we also dropped some leveling updates for our retail players. Talent builds have been updated for patch 11.1.5 which was a heavily requested change so I’m glad to see it finally here. Lets drop into the notes!

Patch Notes – Version 9.5.33729

Classic Cataclysm:

Alliance – Classic TBC Cataclysm zones are now updated for the Alliance with improvements to more efficient routing and a modernization of the way the guides appear and function in game.

Retail Leveling Updates

Both Factions:

  • The Coalition of Flames
    • Updated Call of the Dream / Fire Season requirements and quest ordering.
  • Emerald Dream Campaign
    • Updated Call of the Dream / Fire Season requirements and quest ordering.
  • Emerald Dream Campaign + Side Quests
    • Updated Call of the Dream / Fire Season requirements and quest ordering.
  • Nightfall Dailies
    • Added additional alternate quest IDs.
    • Fixed turn-in issues.

In conclusion:

When it comes to our guides the TBC version was by far the oldest and needed the most work. With these changes it should match up to the other guides that we offer. As a reminder the horde updates will be coming soon. This facelift will greatly help once Classic TBC launches. For the future we do have our Classic MOP guides currently being worked on so expect updates for that soon as well. As always thank you for reading!

This Week In Zygor – Noblegarden And More

Zygor welcomes the change of the season with bright flowers and an egg or two. For this week in Zygor we have updated our guides for Noblegarden and added our nightfall guides to retail. Let’s hop into this week’s changes.

EVENTS RETAIL/CLASSIC CATACLYSM:

  • Noblegarden returns to Zygor and is live for retail with Classic Cataclysm being updated later today.

RETAIL HORDE/ALLY:

  • Added Nightfall Dailies – Added 11.1.5 guide.
  • Added Flame’s Radiance – Added 11.1.5 beta guide.
  • Added Revisited Horrific Vision of Orgrimmar – Added 11.1.5 guide.
  • Added Revisited Horrific Vision of Stormwind – Added 11.1.5 guide.


PETS/MOUNTS:

  • Added Gorillion – Added guide.
  • Added Hemospore – Added guide.
  • Added Iron Chick – Added guide.

Additionally I wanted to update readers on the progress of our Classic Mists Of Panderia guides. We are preparing with the beta coming to update our guides and make sure we have things ready for you guys when the time comes to leave Classic Cataclysm behind.

I was also informed that TBC classic guides are coming along nicely so we will have no issues getting that guide ready when TBC launches in the future.

This Week In Zygor – April 4th 2025

Another week, another sprinkle of updates coming to Zygor guides. If you’re a retail player or reliving the good times of the Cataclysm, there is a little bit of everything here. Let’s take a look.

CATACLYSM CLASSIC:

  • Wrath of the lich king reputation guides have been updated for Cataclysm classic, feel free to explore previous reputation grinds and enjoy a break from the fires of Cataclysm.

RETAIL:

  • Undermine world quests were added and updated.


PETS/MOUNTS:

  • Added Thimblerig – Added guide.
  • Added Igneous Shalewing – Added guide.
  • Added Subterranean Magmammoth – Added guide.
  • Added Bronze Goblin Waveshredder – Added guide.
  • Added Crimson Armored Growler – Added guide.

Beyond the changes above we have upcoming plans for the guides in the distance future. Zygor will be working on TBC classic guides in preparation for launch. We have a bit of time before TBC classic but I just wanted to solidify that our guides take time to develop and production can start this early behind the scenes to ensure a solid product.

Beyond Cataclysm Classic I wanted to also confirm that we will be working on Mists Of Panderia Classic guides so keep an eye out for that.

Update To 2025 Zygor Elite Plans and Pricing

Last week we announced some changes coming to the plans and pricing offered for the Zygor Elite subscription service. After receiving additional feedback from the community, we’ll be revising these plans.

For starters, we heard the community loud and clear and will be keeping the monthly subscription option for the foreseeable future. However, it will be receiving a price increase to $15.00 a month.

For the longer term plan, we’ll be offering a quarterly subscription (3 months) for $40.00 (equal to $13.33 per month).

To summarize, the two plans that will be offered are:

Monthly Plan (1 month) for $15.00 (billed monthly)
Quarterly Plan (3 months) for $40.00 (equivalent to $13.33 / per month)

As before, if you’re already on the monthly plan with the current pricing, you can continue to stay on this plan/pricing as long as you keep an active subscription. If you cancel or your subscription otherwise expires, you will need to sign back up via the two new plan offerings.

In addition to these new plans and prices, we also intend to send out more coupons and bring back sales periods where you can get deep discounts on these and other special time limited offers, giving customers even more options.

We appreciate everyone’s feedback. These changes will go into affect on May 1st.

Cataclysm Classic Speed Leveling Guide (1-85) Released

Welcome Zygor community to another content drop for our Classic Cataclysm players!

Cataclysm Speed leveling guide (1-85) Cataclysm Classic guides have been updated for both alliance and horde to include our new speed leveling guide. Taking into account heirlooms, joyous journeys and other experience gains to give you the fastest leveling experience.

You can freely switch to the normal leveling guide if you wish to experience zones or quest lines in full and the speed leveling guide will recalibrate once you swap back.

Important points to note about this new guide.

  • Once you out level an area the guide will wrap up quests and send you to the next hub.
  • There is only one route for this guide, this is the quickest route available.
  • The guide will adapt to you killing rares and doing dungeons.
