On Friday, September 30th, the Loyalty Discount will be ending and will no longer be offered. This means that if you want take take advantage of this discount you should upgrade your account to Zygor Elite before the September 30th cutoff date. If you wish to sign up for Zygor Elite after September 30th you still can but you will have to do so at the retail price
What is the Loyalty Discount?
The “Loyalty Discount” only applies to customers who purchased one of our standalone guides before December 10th, 2015 when they were sold for one time fees. These customers have the option of upgrading their account to our new Zygor Elite subscription service for a discounted rate of just $4.99 per month. This will grant access to all the guides the guides for World of Warcraft and The Elder Scrolls Online, including all of the new Legion expansion content.
How Do I Get The Loyalty Discount?
Only customers who purchased a standalone guide before December 10th, 2015 are offered the Loyalty Discount. If you’re eligible for the discounted rate you will see a message in the Members Area promoting the offer. Note that the discount is one time use, so if you already used the discount in the past and cancelled then you cannot sign back up at the discounted price again.
If you think you meet the criteria but don’t see the discount please contact us via our support page: http://support.zygorguides.com/
Will This Affect “Lifetime Updates”
No. This is not the same as our “Lifetime Updates” policy for standalone guides purchased during our previous one time fee model. If you purchased a standalone guide you will continue to receive updates with the exception of expansion content you don’t already own (but expansions have always required upgrade fees).
I came on the site today to upgrade to the elite. I just recently got in to the expansion and finally made it past the leveling stage and wanted to expand the guides I use. I knew there was an Elite level Loyalty discount and was planning to upgrade. I was not aware that they put a time line on your loyalty. I do not understand the thinking/marketing behind putting dates on loyalty program. I do not know of any other company that offers such but puts a end date on it. For other companies if you have been loyal customer they want you back no matter if it was last week or last year. I have used this product for several WOW expansions but this says to me that their loyalty is short lived no matter how long you have been a supporter of the product. So now instead of getting something from me they will get nothing else until they decide that my previous loyalty was worth something to them. This is very disappointing from my point of view.
My purchase of the standalone guides “should” give me permanent access to the ellite guides at a discount if you start it off that way. You are nothing but money grabbers. I will be even more hard pressed to even consider the monthly fee version of you “guide”. I have had a few issues with you guide while in game that other free guides don’t seem to have. Perhaps if you spent more time making sure your guides work as they should more people would use them and the ones that deserve a “permanent” discount actually get it. You skate the edge of Blizzards Terms of Service and somehow avoid breaking their policy about addons that charge for there use.
I subscribed to elite before, then unsubscribed when taking a break from WoW. Now I am no longer eligible for the discount. After inquiring the support it was apparently a one time offer, which wasn’t made clear when the loyalty discount was announced nor when I subscribed whatsoever. It’s already odd that Zygor would end the loyalty discount program at all as the idea behind it, as I understood, was that whom bought guides in the past could get the discount. Even after a first use of the discount and as of tomorrow (after the discount deadline): I still bought the guides in the past… so why wouldn’t a returning customer be eligible for the discount at any point? The fact that I quit Wow after a while and return to it from time to time (typically after expansion release) apparently puts me in the non-loyal corner. Pity… Zygor just steered a customer away for good… not because the 7.99 is too steep a price but due to dissapointment in the principles Zygor adheres…
I have the same problem. I used elite for several months, with discount. I had to cancel my visa card and because legion wasn’t out yet I didn’t need zygor that much. Now I want to turn back to elite, I do have the requirements (all the guides before december 2015 but I do not get the discount button. I always loved zygor so much and I did not care to pay for the guides, but at this moment zygor isn’t honest at all to its customers.
I’m impressed, I need to say. Actually not often do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and enaiettinrng, and let me let you know, you might have hit the nail on the head. Your thought is excellent; the problem is something that not enough individuals are speaking intelligently about. I am very completely satisfied that I stumbled throughout this in my seek for one thing referring to this.
Not surprising in the least. In the infamous Food Lion/tainted meat case, a case that ABC lost in court, the grocery worker’s union was the consultant. The significance there is thta Food Lion is non-union.
Yeah, that’s the titkce, sir or ma’am
You are very cheeky, the $4.99 price is before tax, the actual price is $5.99.
You should be honest with you customers and not dishonest.
I paid a lot of money buying your products before and while some will say $1 is nothing, its the principle.
Tax is only applied in select regions. In the U.S. only states like Ohio require a tax. In European countries there’s a VAT tax, so generally we don’t mention it as the majority of customers will never see this, but we’ll look into changing our messaging to make this clearer.
Already have all the legion ones so buying zygor elite for something i already have and kinda make me buy it becuase i am not loyal after sept 30 is kinda i dunno bad? So this means we are not royal anymore after sept30 or too many people bought it this way?
I already pay the loyalty price, does this mean that next month my price will go up? Or will it stay at the loyalty?
I would like the loyaty price
