This week we celebrate 21 years of Warcraft and with it a fresh guide for our Zygor users!
It’s pretty wild to think that World Of Warcraft has been around for 21 years, I’m not sure if many people knew what they were doing back in 2004 but spending time online was at the top of my list even back then.
I would also like to make note that Zygor has been around since 2007 and is nearly as old as the game itself, that’s 18 years to be exact.
As we reflect on the past lets dive deeper into this week’s changes. Please note that this update has ongoing updates and some portions are currently not working fully on Blizzards side of things.

Today we’re rolling out the next milestone update for our Guide Viewer addon: Zygor Guides Version 9.6.
This update includes the following new updates and features:
Gold Guide Rework The Gold Guide has been reworked due to various changes made to farming items in recent expansions. We’ve combined all farming chores into a single display so you can view everything in one section and we’ve added additional filters so you can refine the results by item type and your characters profession skill. Routes are now scored based on what valuables are dropped, their current worth, and the frequency those items appear on the auction house.
Startup Orientation Checklist The Startup Orientation Wizard, which walks you through synchronizing your character with the Zygor Guide Viewer so that it can adapt and provide you with better instructions has been changed from a step-by-step guide into a checklist style display for easier use.
New Options: Skip Flightpath and Inn Steps We’ve added new options to skip steps that tell you to pick up a flightpath or set your hearthstone to a particular inn.
New Option: Hide Viewer In Dungeons We’ve added a new option to automatically hide the Viewer when entering a dungeon. There’s also an option to automatically show it again when exiting a dungeon.
New Option: Action Bar Expansion Direction We’ve added a new option to change what direction the action bar buttons appear in.
