Updated Brawlers Guild Guide
In Patch 7.1.5. Blizzard brought back the Brawler’s Guild. Previously, we had a guide for this but after the patch that guide was made obsolete, so we have completely rewritten this guide from scratch for the new version of the Brawler’s Guild. The guide will walk you through all 8 ranks and earn you the “King of the Guild” achievement. You can find this guide by doing a search for “Brawler’s Guild”. It should come up under Events \\ Brawler’s Guild \\ Legion Brawler’s Guild.
New Feature: Map Preview
Another recent Blizzard change that affected our guides was Blizzards changes to the addon API that disabled player location tracking in Dungeons. This affected our ability to show the Waypoint Arrow inside of dungeons.
To address this, we’ve added a new Map Preview feature. Now when you enter a dungeon the waypoint arrow will become a map icon.
When clicked, it will display a borderless version of the map that will allow you to see the your player cursor and green waypoints to the quest givers, bosses, and other locations you need to go to in the Dungeon Guides.
This is especially useful for navigating dungeons. For pathing, the guide will place several waypoints on the map connected by ant trails that show you the direction you need to go. With this, you can easily navigate the dungeon by following your player cursor and guiding it along the route shown.
This feature is fully customizable, allow you to enable/disable the feature entirely, change the size of the Map Preview, adjust the map transparency, set the length of time the map will show on click, and the method control from either completely manual, or an automatic mode that will trigger the Map Preview on each step that supports it.
New Feature: Guide Tip Sharing
With Zygor’s Dungeon Guide you have a wealth of information about the dungeon and boss fights right on your screen, including tips and strategies for what other members of your group should do. Of course, the other members of your groups won’t always have the same information at their disposal, which is why we’ve added a new Guide Tip Sharing feature.
You will now be able to broadcast the tips you see in the guide to your groups party or raid chat.
This will automatically output the text from the guide into the chat and send it so that all the members of your party can see the strategy. This is especially useful if you find yourself assuming leadership of the group as you can quickly and easily make sure everyone knows what to do.
You can also share the tips just by Shift + Clicking the individual line themselves.
Let us know what you think of these new features either in the comments or on the forum. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
It’s too bad that so much effort was put into a wonderful dungeon guide instead of repairing many other issues regarding content, cave entrances and to stop telling users to Exit immediately after they’ve taken one step inside the cave, plus tons of other things which need improvement in all the guides prior to Legion. Very few people start a new character at level 90 or 100. But, I’m sure you don’t care and you will continue to ignore issues which I point out. I’m used to it. I’ve always wanted to help improve existing guides.
Can’t wait to try the Guide Tip Sharing! I’ve been wishing I could do that forever, both for dungeons and for group quests. Thanks!
