Zygor Guides Is Looking For More Guide Writers To Join The Team

by (2 years ago).

We are once again looking for new guide writers to join the Zygor Guides team. This will involve creating new guides of all types (Leveling, Dailies, Dungeons, Professions, Collectibles, ect.) for all versions of the game (Retail, Classic and TBC).

The key qualities we’re looking for are people with vast knowledge of the game, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to figure out how to do things in the game in an optimized manner.

This is a remote position open to anyone in the United States. You will be able to work from home but will be required to provide all your own computer equipment needed to run the game and related guide writing tools.

If you make it past the interview stage there is an initial training period where we will test your skills on optimization and basic guide syntax. You will be paid during this time. Pay starts at minimum wage with the opportunity for quick advancement to $10-$12 once out of the training period. We also offer fully employer paid benefits for health, dental, and vision.

If this is an opportunity you would be interested in you can apply here.

Hello, please can you let me know why this is limited to the US only? As it is a remote job I would have thought it suit
I live in the U.K. and I know I would be excellent at this role.
Back in the days of Vanilla, and The Burning Crusade, and before the advent of Zygot, I used to write guides for all my guild members encompassing a multitude of areas of the game, though focused especially on specifically optimised levelling and also special quest chains.

After a severe neck accident, back in 2012, I now spend most my time sitting at home, with masses of free time. I also possess the writing, spelling, grammar and language skills, all combined with a brain that has great focus and attention to detail, that I believe would be a perfect fit for the roles you are looking to fill.

I would dearly love to apply for it.

    Kind regards,

    Richard

I live in the U.K. and I know I would be excellent at this role. I have been invited, and taken part in, every major World of Warcraft release since MoP, all the betas, and many of the alpha testing too.
My key focus in all of them has been levelling, and examining in detail all the quest texts and any spoken messages too.
