waypointer problems

just got the cata update and my waypointer is not working it did for a bit then just stoped on lvl5 step76 can any1 help update its not working on any of my toons

Ok, have you tried to un-install and then re-install the guides? Just in case it's a corrupted guide file somewhere?

First go into your WoW/Interface/AddOns folder and delete the 2 Zygor folders. Then go into your WoW/WTF/Account/accountname/SavedVariables folder and delete the 4 files that start with Zygor. There should be 2 of each for ZygorTalentAdvisor and ZygorGuidesViewer.

After you delete all that stuff you should be able to just run the Updater and click on the Install button.

I've run out of ideas on this one. Can you post a screen shot of just the guide window in game so I can see what it's displaying?

Uhh.. don't worry about the screen shot as you probably wouldn't be able to cut out just the guide viewer window.

Does the first line of the step contain coordinates?

yes it say gilnaeas 32.66but the waypointer just sits there it does not move even when i go to where i am told to go

Ahh.. Worgen starting area. When the Cata stuff first came out there were some waypoint arrow issues in the starting area for the Worgen due to the phasing and stuff. I bet it has come back. The best advice I can give for that is for now just do the best you can to find where you need to go until you've gotten out of the Worgen area, somewhere around level 11. Once you leave the Gilneas area the arrow should start working again properly.

One other thing you could try would be to install TomTom and tell the guide viewer to use that arrow. This might get it working for you in the Worgen starting area.

Thanks for the information on the Starting Area for Worgens. We are looking into this problem now to get it fixed soon.
