Ebonheart guide finishes at level 48

I'm playing through the Ebonheart guide and have now completed the Coldharbour (42-48) portion. I'm a little behind, so I finished it at level 47.

What I wonder is why the guide finishes here at level 48. Thought it was a complete guide to level 50?

That's supposed to be the end of the guides since it's the end of the normal leveling zones. Right now it shows up to 48 as a bit of a reminder to us that we need to figure out why we get done and most people aren't 50 yet when they should be. I would suggest running around and find any dungeons or areas you didn't explore and hit them up. Don't forget to hit up the world bosses if you find them and doing all of that should help with gaining those last levels.

Thanks for the reply. Just wondered about this and thought I should mention it to you. I will just run around and do the random stuff and the dungeons. Should get to 50 eventually, without to much of a problem.

May I suggest, that you include the mages guild questline in the guide? In the guide you only do the fighters guild questline.

We do have the mages guild quests in there. It's possible you weren't able to accept the quests due to not having found enough lorebooks and skipped them.

Strange. I have been following the guide from step 1 at level 1, and I have not skipped a single quest along the way. I was never told to take the mages guild quests past level 15 or so.

I'll have to double check with the guys about that then. I was pretty sure we had them all in there but they might have skipped some due to difficulty reasons.

The Ebonheart guide is definitely not polished. There are a few hiccups here and there, bad locations, skipped quests, etc. I've found myself @ level 27 and I seem to be behind the guide by about 2 levels, at least the quest reward levels, and that's stopping to smell the roses along the way and then stomping them for XP. Is it usable, yes. Is it polished? Sorry, but not in my opinion.
