Unable to update guide

When I click on update it says Connecting... for a bit, then jumps to Downloading 0.00/0.00 MB and then goes back to the screen and still offers to update.

Sometimes it says it can't reach the Internet and sometimes it says that it gets an error 500 from your server.

Same, it is giving me Error message 500. Tells me to report to forums.
