Blizzard has announced that Patch 7.2 – “The Tomb of Sargeras” for World of Warcraft (said to be their biggest content patch ever) will be going live on Tuesday, March 28th. We will be pushing guide updates over the next few weeks to cover all of this new content.

Leveling and Loremaster

The Broken Shore / Order Hall Extension / Artifact Traits

In Patch 7.2, The Broken Shore zone becomes available as an end-game questing zone, similar to what happened with Tanaan Jungle in Warlords of Draenor. After you complete the Broken Shore intro scenario you will unlock a new quest hub called Deliverance Point, and world quests for a new Emissary and faction known as The Armies of Legionfall. Your Order Hall will also be extended, allowing you to work towards obtaining a class specific flying mount. You’ll then complete additional campaign quests to unlock new 7.2 Artifact Traits. 

The order hall content will require you to possess Artifact Knowledge 25, and to have purchased all 35 Artifact ranks for at least one spec, before you can level to the new knowledge cap of 50, and unlock four additional traits for your weapon. If you haven’t done this yet, there will be a method made available in Dalaran to boost your Knowledge, and a quest provided for ranking up your artifact.

It also appears that Blizzard will be implementing a kind of progression wall to the overall class order hall quest line, trickling out this content over successive weeks.

Points of Interest (POIs)

You will need to gather Legionfall War Supplies in order to construct buildings that will help you along your journey in the Broken Shore. This resource is a reward for world quests, and dropped by rare spawns. We will be updating our Points of Interest system to show all the treasures and rare spawns throughout the Broken Shore.

Talent Builds

We will also update the talent builds for all classes for any necessary changes.

Dungeon and Gear

New Dungeon and Raid

A new dungeon and raid are being added with this patch (Cathedral of Eternal Night and Tomb of Sargeras, respectively) and we will be releasing new guides for unlocking and completing each of these. On a side note, we also have an update coming next week to add in the remaining raid guides for Legion.

Gear Advisor Updates

We will be adding the new items found in the new dungeon/raid, and the item score stat weights for all classes and specs will be updated for any necessary changes.

Dailies and Reputations

Patch 7.2 will continue the trend set in Legion where you must complete world quests in order to raise your reputation with the various factions. You’ll also be able to earn Paragon reputation, allowing you to increase your standing with select factions beyond Exalted. We will be adding guides for these as they become available.

Gold and Professions

Patch 7.2 unlocks the Obliterum Forge for everyone at no cost and requires no questline! There is a single intro quest that gives you one free Obliterum as well.

All item level 815 crafted end-game gear will now be crafted at item level 835. All existing items between item levels 815-830 will retain their existing item level. The first application of Obliterum will bring them up to 840, and the Obliterum cap has been increased to iLvl 875.

New Items Added To Gold Chores:

Several new items are being added to the game and we will be updating the Gold Guide Chores menu with new farming and gathering guides for these items, including Bolt of Shadowcloth, Bolt of Starweave, Wisp-Touched Elderhide, Prime Wardenscale, and Hammer of Forgotten Heroes.

Pets and Mounts

As mentioned earlier, each class will have their own epic class mount in the patch. These are rewarded by your Class Order campaign. 

If you have at least one level 25 battle pet, you will be able to speak to access a new Battle Pet scenario.

Titles and Achievements

Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part Two

Requires you to have completed Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part One, to reveal all areas of The Broken Shore, complete the four Legion assaults (in Azsuna, Highmountain, Stormheim, and Val’sharah), and earn Revered status with the Armies of Legionfall. You can already start on completing the Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part One achievement using our fully in-game walkthrough found in our Titles and Achievements guide under Achievements \ Legion \ Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part One.

New Assorted Achievements

In addition to Pathfinder there are dozens of new quest, exploration, artifact, raid, profession, and pet battle achievements that we will be adding guides for.
