Ignore auto-equip when Alliance Lance is equipped

I still love doing tournament dailies. Several of them require equipping an Alliance Lance, which is a white item. As soon as I equip my lance to do dailies, I get the box pop up offering to replace item with the better sword I carry instead. Can you add in an exception when doing the auto-equip code to not happen if equipped item is a quest item or the alliance lance please?

You can hit decline which will prevent the auto-equip from trying to swap that item. Would that not produce the desired behavior?
