Sizing the guide viewer vertically

Something that is really, really annoying me is that it is very difficult to resize the guide viewer vertically now. You have to get the mouse pointer EXACTLY in the right place because most of the time you will bring up the Steps Completed window instead.

Can you do something with this, please, before I tear what's left of my hair out?

What do you mean resize the guide viewer vertically? The vertical size of the viewer is based on how many steps you are showing and the size of the steps.

I like to set the number of steps to "All", but that makes the window too tall, so I grab hold of the bottom of the window and move it up to reduce the vertical size. That may not be the best way but it's the way I've always done it
