Abandening a quest

First i want to tell you "what a great system, thid guides !!"
Now for my question.

When i abandon a quest for whatever reason, then is there a way the quide will follow this abandoning ? So I know where to go furteron.

It depends on why you abandon it. If you abandon it because it's buggy and you want to get it again then just back up the guide to the accept step and go get it again. If you abandon it because you can't complete it and plan to just skip it then the guide will know it's not there and move on. Keep in mind that a lot of the WoW questing is linear and you might eventually run into a problem if you abandon quests and skip them.
