new questing guide

i love useing the zygor guide for wow lvling dailys all of them. but what about haveing a guide for all the other quest in wow. the ones that are skipped i think it would be good to have a guide to show you around them as well.

Between Leveling, Loremaster, and all the other guides last i know there's really only a handful of oddball quests that aren't covered in at least one guide like the one for Lament of the Highborne.

Using two addons, Wholly and Grail along with Icy Veins quest completion feature (http://www.icy-veins.com/completed-quests-checker-wow), you can easily find quests you havent finished.

The problem is, while it would be a nice idea to have a 100% quest completion guide, Blizzard has made that just about impossible. Things that can exclude quests from being accepted include completing quests in a different order, choosing which introductory quest to pick up (generally speaking, you will only be able to pick up ONE quest that sends you to a new zone even tho there are usually several choices, example is the blasted lands, there is an introductory quest in both Winterspring and in Tanaris, which one you pick up will likely depend on where you leveled at), permanently missing a quest because you 'skipped' ahead (two examples, in the aforementioned Winterspring/Tanaris pre-Badlands quest, if you go to the Badlands BEFORE you pick up the pre-quest, you permanently miss the ability to pick it up, the second example is a reputation situation in Nagrand involving the Kurenai, if you work to Honored with the Kurenai BEFORE you complete the 10 crystals collection quest, you permanently miss out on this quest), or reputation 'choices' (the two factions in Shattrah come to mind, which you choose excludes you from quest options for the opposite faction).

HOWEVER, having said all of this, there is no reason that, if you find quests NOT covered in the Zygor addon, to suggest they be added to the loremaster guides. Personally, I run the Zygor leveling guide for a zone, then run the loremaster guide for the same zone (if one exists), then I pull up the map and Wholly/Grail marks on my main map all the quests I still have not completed, after completing these, I do the icy-veins lookup and see what quests are listed that I am eligible for. But I do this because I dont like exclamation marks .

this is true. i never thought to run the lvling guide and the loremaster in the same zone. thank you. is there an addon that will show you where there are quest that you mist ?

The addons Wholly and Grail work together to help show that, and there is also a different one that could be used called QuestCompletist.

Im actually thinking about compiling a list of every completable quest that Zygor is missing. 'Most' of the missing quests are in zones like the Outlands & Northrend where you previously could not complete certain quests solo because the mobs were elite - now of course, there are virtually no elite mobs and these quests are soloable and WORTH DOING as they generally provide blue gear that are significant upgrades. Considering that these quests are generally the final quest in a chain, they involve killing one single non elite that used to be elite (so they are easy and fast), they are easy quests to do.

I have been thinking of these quests. They should be in Zygor's since the gear upgrades makes leveling slightly faster

thanks to all who posted on this subject. i've been wondering the same myself. i'm a perfectionist/completionist myself! i like doing everything. i will definitely check out those three addons as they sound like they may be a very effective way to complete all the other quests left behind.

I think you need to do the whole Dread Wastes quests to unlock all their dailies.

Shado-Pan:

You gain much reputation by questing Townlong and some quests in Kun-Lai also give Shado-Pan reputation.

August Celestials:

Dominance Offensive / Operation Shieldwall:
You automatically get the prequest at level 90 in your faction's city in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
