How do I reset a guide?

Hello,

I started playing a night elf and then switched to a human. I've decided to go back and create another night elf but the guide shows all the steps completed from my first character. How do I reset it to go back to step one? Thank you

The quickest and easiest way is to go into your WoW/WTF/Account/accountname/SavedVariables folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer.lua and ZygorGuidesViewer.lua.bak files. This will reset the guides for all of your characters.

If you only want to reset for one character edit the ZygorGuidesViewer.lua file (same directory) and search for the block of info with the character's name in it and delete that chunk of info from within the .lua file.

Is there a reason the reset character option under the guide options doesn't work?

I believe that's a bug that's being looked at.
