....but what guide (alliance or horde) do Pandarens fall under? If I only have the Alliance leveling guide, for example, can I use my guide if I roll a Pandaren?

Pandaren (1-12) fall under no side so both have access to them. After you hit 12 you pick a side and that will determine what guides you need to own from that point onward.My Flight Path Follies guide

Just so I completely understand, levels 1-12 are in every guide, but once i hit 12 I would have to pick Alliance since that is the leveling guide I have.Comment

Yeah, the 1-12 Panda starting zone is available to everyone (even free trial) and at the end you just pick Alliance side and then reload the UI for the guide viewer to load your Alliance guides.My Flight Path Follies guide
