I'm not a fan of a monthly subscription to this guide, since I don't use any of the other guides than the levelling one for my specific faction, which is why I don't see any benefits for me paying close to 60 $ a year for a single guide. However, if I decide to level up a char from the other faction, will I be able to buy the subscription for one month to use that specific guide? What will happen when I unsubscribe? Will I be able to subscribe again, and still get the benefits of a "loyal customer"?
Most of your questions are answered in this post: http://www.zygorguides.com/forum/sho...l=1#post108192

Also, if you subscribe and then unsubscribe you will still have access to any guides you already own from a one-time payment purchase.

This post covers the question on the pricing of the guides: http://www.zygorguides.com/forum/sho...l=1#post108192

You will be able to come and go as you please with the subscription.

Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong info but I don't feel like that posted answered the previous questions. Elite sounds great but I am curious as to how the following scenario would play out: I sign up for Elite on thursday and have the loyalty rate since I am a guide owner for several years now ($4.99), I maintain my subscription all the way up to and through the release of Legion. About 2 months after Legion releases and my guides update for the new content, I decide to cancel my Elite subscription. 1.) Do I keep all the updated content on my guides (Legion) even though I cancelled my monthly payment? 2.) If I decide to re-subscribe, is it at $4.99 or $7.99? I'm very curious as to how you guys will prevent people from simply subscribing to Elite before expansions, and then cancelling once their guides update. Does a person who cancelled their Elite membership get all the little updates for patches and seasonal guides like someone who just simply bought the guide outright?

Thanks for the options with making our Zygor experience more enjoyable

When you cancel your subscription then you will revert back to owning what you had paid a one time fee for. So unless you decide to purchase the Legion upgrades (like you did for WoD) then in your scenario you would not have access to them anymore. As stated in that post I linked "You'll retain they loyalty rate for as long as you stay subscribed, so you will lose it if you cancel." That means that if you cancel your subscription you will then be at the default $7.99 price if you decide to subscribe again.

Currently I have zygor installed on my computer and my wives computer and we share the guides and level together. Will I still be able to use one account on two computers or will she need her own account/sub? Thank you

Yes, you will still be able to use the guides on all computers and game accounts in your house.

How long will the $4.99 loyalty discount be available to prior owners of the guides?

We will be allowing previous customers to signup at the loyalty rate at least up until Legion releases.

We all know there is automation in the guide now. Automatically accepting quests and quest rewards, automatically selling grey items and automatically taking flight paths is against the TOU as it is AUTOMATED.

Very very shady, sketchy and a grey area that need to be looked at before you release Zygor Elite... don't you think.

You're taking it far too literal, it means automated as in playing the game for you like bots do. The automation you are talking about still requires player interaction.

As xurkon says, the 'automation' you are referring to all requires human interaction for it to happen and Blizzard does not consider that to be automation when it comes to if an addon is breaking the rules. If you click on an NPC to talk to them then an addon is allowed to automatically accept or turn in a quest for you. If you walk near an NPC the addon is not allowed to talk to them for you and then accept and turn in quests because that did not require you to interact with the NPC in any way. If Blizzard felt that addons being allowed to accept and turn in quests was being abused (many addons have this same functionality) they would disable the API calls that allow addons to 'click' those buttons and then it wouldn't work.

In a nutshell, whenever Blizzard refers to automation they are talking about botting types of activities that a normal addon would not be able to do within the confines of the Blizzard Addon API structure. To do this kind of automation would require external (to the game) programs running that are interacting with the game in your system memory and circumventing the addon system completely. Automation in general (in WoW terms) means your character doing stuff in game with no interaction required by a human. This would be things like having your character farm an area while you sleep or are in a different room watching TV.

You retain access for the month you paid for.
