    Cataclysm?

    I was just wondering, it seems that Cataclysm might ruin the Zygor guide because of the newly reforged Kalimdor and Azeroth areas. In this sense, old quests will be removed and new quests will be brought in. Will the guide adapt to this or is the change just a blizzard money sucking move that resulted in really no differences?

    I just now read the other posts about the issue mentioned above. Sorry and I have my answer.

      Yes, our guides will be updated for levels 1-80 for our current customers, for free. The new content, such as level 80-85, as well as the Goblin and Worgen starter areas, will be part of a guide Upgrade and will require a fee of around $30.00. The Upgrade fee is still not 100% decided on, because there is no possible way to know how much work will go into rewriting our guides entirely from scratch.

        So do current guide owners get a free upgrade of 1-85 or do we have to buy the 80-85 seperate?

          Current customer get the completely rewritten levels 1-80.

          The Goblin and Worgen starter zones and levels 80-85 will be included in the Cataclysm Guide Expansion Upgrade, which current customers will need to purchase.

            A thought...

            A thought about Cataclysm. For people who do NOT get the new expansion, that will be a guide you will have to keep updated also, correct? Unless they make the expansion a requirement, then there should be no problem...

              Levels 1-80 will be updated at no charge. By not upgrading you would only be missing out on the Goblin / Worgen starter guides, and levels 80-85. To gain access to that guide content, there will be an Upgrade fee of $30.00.

                I don't think anyone has asked this one yet so I'll get it out there for those that would like to know but haven't thought about asking the question. Will there be a special price for upgrading both versions instead of $60 for both upgrades?

                    Well im starting a worgen druid asap, so ill be geting the upgrade.
                    It might sound like a lot of money, but based on what you are getting and the work needed to bring it its not to bad.

                    With this expansion all of wow areas will change, even if you do not get the expansion.
                    Looking forward to trying the new parts out.
