Leveling and Builds

My lvl 60 Hunter has a Beast Mastery build but I am now thinking maybe I should go in another direction. Is it possible/practical to change one's build at any time or should I do some kind of respec to Survival now? Or, is it faster to level in BM and then respec later? Thanks

I decided at lvl 48 on my hunter to change from Beastmaster to Survival build, as I heard that was the better DPS tree.
Im sure it is, after whatever level it is when you get explosive shot.
I did 2 dungeons in Survival then went right back to the trainor to redo Zygors build. Cost me gold, but education isnt free, is it?
