No Arrow

On all my characters except my lvl 71 Death Knight, the arrow that shows you where to go for each step, has disappeared! Help???!!!

Do you have the newest guides installed? Try deleting all of the Zygor folders in your AddOns folder. If you still have Cartographer folders in your AddOns folder, delete them as well. Then, install the newest version of the guides inside our Members Area.

I also am having an issue wiht the arrow. I have just downloaded the latest version as a new member today. I have tried all solutions in the forums and cannot get an arrow to show. I also used the one that had you post a run command in chat. I am standing in Ironforge and am supposed to head to Thousand Needles ...should I see an arrow?

As a sidenote I do not have Cartographer installed and disabled Dcords just in case it was the culprit. when the game starts it says that the in game waypoint addon loaded sucesfully.

I really would like to fix this quickly. I have debated on buying this guide for awhile and after getting it was excited to get started. No arrow = not helping me yet.....

No. What you should do in this case, and in similar cases, is hit your map and then right-click out to see the larger area. If you dont see the green dot on the map, right-click again and select another region.
For example, you are in IF as you say, but you are told to go to another unknown place you aren't familiar with. You right-click to see the eastern kingdom, but no dot. Right-click again and then left-click on kalimdor. There you would see the dot where you are supposed to be.

Hmm, it may be that the step you are on simply doesn't have a waypoint. Try skipping around a few steps in the guide and see if the arrow displays.

Have tom tom arrow working now but still cant get the inguide one to show up.

Do you have the guide set to use the TomTom arrow or the built-in arrow, in the options?

I have noticed the same issue, but only when traveling from one zone to another. Like other people said, just keep zooming out until you see the green dot on your map. Once you enter that zone your arrow should reappear.

Actually, most zone switching steps, such as "Go east to Loch Modan", do not have waypoints assigned to them. We will be fixing this in the future, though, so it will be less confusing.
