    How Many Macros?!

I've started to get lots of errors from Zygor today. This is a fairly typical example:
Message: Interface\AddOns\ZygorGuidesViewer\ActionBar.lua:2 97: CreateMacro() failed, already have 120 macros
    Time: Sun Nov 22 19:25:36 2020
    Count: 1
Stack: Interface\AddOns\ZygorGuidesViewer\ActionBar.lua:2 97: CreateMacro() failed, already have 120 macros
    [string "@Interface\AddOns\ZygorGuidesViewer\ZygorGuidesVi ewer.lua"]:505: in function `Startup_LoadGuides_Threaded'
    [string "@Interface\AddOns\ZygorGuidesViewer\ZygorGuidesVi ewer.lua"]:762: in function <...rface\AddOns\ZygorGuidesViewer\ZygorGuidesView er.lua:669>

    Locals: <none>
I definitely don't have 120 macros! I'm not sure why it thinks I do.

Try doing a full guide reset.

    1. exit WoW
    2. go to the WoW/_retail_/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
    3. go to the WoW/_retail_/WTF/Account/<your account name here>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
    4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
    5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

That hasn't fixed it On logging back in, I got the following:
Message: Interface\AddOns\ZygorGuidesViewer\ActionBar.lua:2 97: CreateMacro() failed, already have 120 macros
      Time: Sun Nov 22 19:44:56 2020

It only seems to be happening on one character. I've just logged in on a different character, and all is fine. On this one priest every time I do anything, I get the error popping up, which is annoying. I have used all the character-specific macro slots, but that's been the case for ages. The only thing I did this afternoon was install an addon called Grid2, but the the druid I logged in on to check zygor out, is also using it, so I think that's a coincidence.

Try disabling all other addons on that 1 toon to see if you get the error when only Zygor is running.

I disabled everything except Zygot, reloaded, and the first thing that popped up was the error

I've deleted a character-specific macro to free up a macro slot, and that seems to have fixed it. I don't understand why it just started today as I haven't created any new macros on that character in ages. All those slots have been full for a very long time. What does '120 macros' refer to? there are 18 character-specific slots, so not that! I had already tried deleting some global macros, which didn't make any difference at all.

Do you maybe have 120 total with global and character macros?

It's possible. I have a lot of alts, and a fair few of them are healers - I usually use mouseover macros for healing. If the total number across all chars was the problem though why did it only affect one character, and why didn't deleting a global macro solve it? But I think it's time to have a macro spring glean - it will give me something to do before SL lands

Have you thought about using something like Healbot or VuhDoo for your healers? I find those to be very helpful for mouse-over healing, cleansing, buffing, etc.

It's been a while since I tried them, but I didn't like them very much I use decursive for cleansing, now that SmartDebuff is dead.
