Travel System Initializing Problem

Just installed the latest update and as normal the waypoint arrow comes up and it states travel system initializing under the arrow. Problem is it gets to 99% and stops and then I get an error. I had no problem with this in the previous update. Any help would be appreciated.

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.


1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

I was having the same issue. The above directions worked for me.....just be aware you are going to wipe out any profiles you have created but it's not hard to recreate them.

Ok that fixed the freezing problem and error, but now under the waypoint arrow I am getting "flight connection unknown, Attempting best route" why is this happening?

Talk to a flight master on each continent so the guide viewer can re-learn what flights you know.

ok everything is correct now, but I would like to know what happened to the option to choose what type of waypoint arrow I could use like for instance the Midnight arrow icon, there does'nt seem to be an option to choose the arrow icon now.

Those arrow skins were removed from the options a few months ago when we did the rest of the settings overhaul. The skins were causing problems with things so we removed them.
