Alot of lag and fps drop

After having zygor guide addon running for a while it seems that it never reset the memory and it grows and grows until the fps gets unplayable. (even without active tasks) That is atleast my conclusion that everytime i manually reload wow it clears the memory and seems fine.
What can i do to fix this? Also tried disable all other addons. and reinstall the zygor addon.

Try this for a test. Exit the game, go to your WoW/_retail_ folder, and rename the WTF folder to WTF.Old. If you are playing TBC then you want the WoW/_classic_ folder and if you are playing Classic the WoW/_classic_era_ folder. After renaming the WTF folder go back in game for testing.

Hello again, I have renamed the file. And it does not affect anything. Still no reset on the memory / prosessing of data.
Anything else that I can try? or could you make a update that forces it to reset memory after x ammount of time / usage of memory?

Did you rename a single file or did you rename the entire WTF folder? After you did the rename when you went back in game were all of your game and addon settings reset?

I renamed the whole WTF folder. All addons are reset. But the issue is still there.
I have read on different previous posts that this is a common issue.
I really hope we find a fix for it. Or else I cant use zygor because it drop from monitor cap FPS on 2k ultra settings to 14 FPS ~~~
Do you have any other suggestions?

            Try this for a test.

            1. Exit the game
            2. Go to your WoW/_retail_/Cache folder and delete everything in there
            3. Go to your WoW/_retail_ folder and rename the Interface and WTF folders to Interface.Old and WTF.Old
            4. Run the Zygor desktop client, click check for updates at the top, and then click on the Install button
            5. Go in game to test and then let me know if that fixed it

I am having the very same problem, it started occurring in the last 2 to 3 days, it is located with the Zygor Guide, I am sure of this since I disabled all my AddOns and then enabled them one by one, all of them except Zygor - and I was not able to reproduce the problem mentioned above. I then enabled Zygor and the problem started after awhile. I then disable all of them again, and then only enabled Zygor, and then problem occurred.

Have you tried any of the above tests?

Above, between Step 3 and Step 4, you need to log back into the game, all the way so that WoW creates the Interface and WTF in the WoW/_retail_ folder, otherwise doing Step 4 will do nothing since Zygor won't have the directory to install itself into.

I have done exactly what you mentioned above^ And for me unfortunately it has not fixed the issue. What could be the problem?

                          geforce gtx 1080TI
                          i7-7700k 4,2 Ghz
                          16 GB ram

I find it very weird that it is lagging at all. But i think the zygor addon must roll a update that forces processed information to reset every 30 sec maybe. It usually drops by fps 4 per minute ish..

I am having the same issue after the latest update to version 8. With WoW retail running I slowly lose FPS over play time... After about 30 minutes I am below 30FPS. If I disable Zygor , I never drop below 100FPS. With Zygor open I am seeing it grow to over 300Mb of usage. Once it crosses that threshold, things go downhill quick.

Also running a 1080Ti but on an i7-6700k with 32GB Ram.

And also sometimes it does reset the addon memory. but the fps are still the same until i disable zygor...
Temperatures of my graphic card and prosessor are fine constantly.
