automatic guide quests

Hi I’m following your guides for shadowlands and some of the guide quests say go to this area and automatic pick the quest? Well whether on my own or in a group of friends (2 or more) nothing happens and I/we skips the quest guide and move on to the next step! Before you asked I have turn off the guide and logged out, logged in and the put the guide back on and reset the game?I’ve done a this a few time which make me think something needs to be corrected?

Did you start with the Shadowlands Intro guide and follow along from there? If this is an alt are you leveling with the Threads of Fate? Which of the 3 versions of zone guide did you load up?
