Action Button

Seems to be some sort of issue with the action button. When it appears for a quest, talk to ... etc., it doesn't work. Specifically for quest items. There seems to be some sort of 'clear' button overlayed on the action button. I have to manually use the button available on the quest list or in my bags for them to work. Also, if I disable the buttons, turn the feature completely off, it still shows up on the screen with a clear button overlay. Yes, I have macro room. So I can't turn it off, and when it shows up it don't work. If I disable/re-enable the action bar it works once, not a second time.

That would be another addon that is putting that invisible window over the action bar window. Try moving the guide viewer to the other side of the screen as a test and run around like that for a bit to see if anything blocks the action buttons. If there are no issues on the other side of the screen then it's definitely some other addon with an invisible window right where you had the guide viewer.

Thanks for the response. Other addons disabled. No matter where I put it, it won't click. Still have to use it manually or from the bags. It still shows up after it's been disabled. It appears and disappears at odd times (not counting 'hide in combat'). I don't mind not being able to use it, just wish it would stay gone after I uncheck both options.

When you look in the guide viewer settings on the About page what does it show for the version number? And which game are you playing?

WOW Retail: v9.2.7

Try doing a full guide reset.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/_retail_/Interface/Addons folder and delete any Zygor folders
3. go to the WoW/_retail_/WTF/Account/<your account name here>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and see if that fixed it

Thanks again for your help. Once I removed ALL my addons and reinstalled the guides as you suggested, it works as normal now. Unfortunately, it works as excepted without any addons. Once I installed my other addons (2 - Rare Scanner and Details DMG Meter). It stopped working as excepted.

If this is the case, it's not an issue for me to not be able to use, that's ok. Got no problem using/dragging it to the bar.
The issue at that point will be that it won't stay 'off' when I disabled both checkboxes.

Strange. Works for me and I use those and a lot more addons.
Hope you get it working as it is a very handy feature.

Thanks - It's not feature critical for me, but I can't shut it off. Both checkboxes are off and yet it still shows up, and not clickable.

Just as a possibility, have you unchecked the 3 different types of buttons as well? Might have to check the 2 at the top to be able to uncheck the 3 types first.

Yes, the 2 at the top are also off. In fact, nothing is checked on that screen.
Just won't go away.
