How accurate is the gear suggestion?

I love this part of the guide. Been using it up until now. Here's the deal. I am a level 120 Ret Paladin.
I know, from research, that my best in slot weapon is

the 340+ mythic version anyways. But according to Zygor's suggestion (and I have altered the item scoring from simming my character) it is still a downgrade from my 310 weapon. I was thinking because the getiikku has no stats, but it is my current BiS weapon because of the passive. I just wish it could read and pick that up? I don't know. I plan on raiding mythic and I don't want it suggesting wrong gear for me

The gear system is not able to score equip or use effects, just stats. If you're using a weapon that has no stats and only has an effect then pretty much any weapon you pick up with stats on it will be considered a better weapon.
