Zygor minimap button "animation"

After today's update, the Zygor "minimap button" now has an annoying animation around the outside of the circle...and it's really distracting.

Is there a setting to disable this and/or make it look as it did before? I don't mind the "Z in a circle", but I don't want the circle to distract my eye every time I look at the minimap with some sort of needless animation.

If it's not clear what I'm talking about, let me know and I'll make a short video showing what I mean.

You could disable the minimap button in the guide viewer settings.

That is not what I asked, nor is it what I want. Why did you change this without providing an option to remove the animation? Did it never occur to anyone that having something animating on the UI would be a distraction?

Why are these changes happening without any request for feedback or even without them being in the patch notes?

I found the culprit. It's in ZygorMapIcon.xml , lines 27-31:

		<Animations>
			<AnimationGroup parentKey="Loop" looping="REPEAT" autostart="true">
			<Rotation target="$parentSpinner" order="1" duration="2" degrees="-360" />
			</AnimationGroup>
		</Animations>

I'm not sure why someone felt the need to add this, but we really need a configuration setting to disable it. It really adds nothing to the addon other than a visual distraction.

I see no animation happening with my minimap icon in the game right now. Only addon I have enabled is Zygor. Not sure why you see an animation and I don't.

I completely reinstalled and deleted my settings file. Now the animation is gone ...but, it definitely was there before! It was just like a rotating animation around the outside of the minimap icon.
