Preview of New SIS (Smart Injection System)

Alright folks, here we go!

We've never really done this before, but I guess there's
a first time for everything, right?! Here's a sneak peek
of our new and improved Smart Injection System (SIS).

With the new SIS being just over the horizon now, we
thought it'd be a good time to begin introducing how it
will work. It's a lot different than the current (old) SIS.

New Menu Interface:

In true Version 3.0 fashion, we've completely revamped
the guide menu interface. We believe this new menu will
be much more intuitive and easy to use, while also being
more advanced in functionality.

In a nutshell, it does more and it's easier to use. :-)

You will be able to interact with the menu in the gray
outlined box. This is where you will browse the guides
you have available to you.

The three buttons at the top left of the menu window:
Guides, Recent, Suggest

The Guides button will take you to the "home" menu,
which is what you see in the picture above.

The Recent button will show you a list of all the guides
you've accessed recently - up to a list of 15 guides.

This is where it starts to get fun. The Suggest button
will dynamically suggest guides that are appropriate to
your specific level.

New Dynamic Guide Suggestion:
------------------------------------------------------
The Leveling Guides are now split into sub-sections that
allow you to jump into the guides at a clean cut location.
Instead of trying to skip a bunch of quests, and potentially
get you even more confused than you were to start with,
you can now dive into the guides at 100% safe spots.

Just pick a guide and go... as long as you meet the level
requirements, of course. :-)

But even better, the guide will instantly filter through all
the different guide choices and find the guide(s) that are
best for YOUR specific level. Just with the single click of
a button - the Suggest button.

For example, let's say you are level 34 (Horde). You've
never used our guide before on this character. You have
no idea what guide you should be using. So, you click the
Suggest button...

Now you see two guides listed that are suggested for your
specific level - The Cape of Stranglethorn and Desolace.

Pick whichever one you'd like and go. It's that simple. You
won't run into quests you can't do because you somehow
missed a prerequisite quest, or any other tedious problems like
that. Those days are over (finally)! :-D

Super RAF, Heirloom, Dungeon, and PvP Friendly:

Okay, so now lets say you used your Zygor Leveling Guide
to level your Horde character to level 15. You got bored
with questing, though. You chugged a little too much Mountain
Dew and decided to run dungeons for 57 hours straight, because
you've obviously lost your mind. :-P

Now you're level 46. Wanting to go back to questing, but
not sure where exactly to go, you click the Suggest button...

Now you have a list of new suggested guides that are suitable
for your exact level - Badlands and Tanaris. Pick one and go!
Boom, easy peasy, and you're off to the races like you never
got off track at all.

What If I Level Faster Than The Guide, Will I Be Stuck?
------------------------------------------------------

Alright, so continuing our little story...

You are leveling happily through the Badlands 44-47 guide,
and boom! You are leveling ahead of the guide, and are
ready to go to the next guide section early.

Why wait? You'll be confronted with a popup, asking if you'd
like to just go ahead and skip to the next guide section, or if
you'd rather tough it out and finish the guide section you're
in. For example...

Choosing Yes, the guide would immediately load the next
guide and you would continue on your merry way, doing
quest appropriate for your specific level. Rinse, repeat. :-D

As for reputation issues, the new SIS will be able to tackle
them - just not initially. Look for solutions for rep issues in
the next update after the initial release of the new SIS. We
did build the new system with rep issues in mind, so it won't
be a big deal to plug those holes quickly.

So When Is It Releasing?
------------------------------------------------------
Short Answer: Sometime next week, definitely.

Long Answer:
We are planning to release it as soon as possible. Whenever
it is stable enough to release (which should be in the next few days),
we'll be packing it all up and shipping it out. So, only a little bit
longer until you can get your paws on it - we promise!

No smoke and mirrors, this is where we're at, ladies and gents.

Oh, by the way, this update will be 100% FREE. It's on the house. ;-)

That's great Zygor. I like it. So you click suggest it gives you options. When you choose which one you want it goes to that section of the guide. When you finish that suggested section you can continue on from there or if you don't like the next zone it tells you to go to you can click suggest again and see if there are any other zones you can level through instead right? How is this system handling the rep issues in the Outlands? I kinda figured that it shouldn't be a problem with this system since the guide will tell you just to go through the whole zone and won't skip any quest right? How will this system handle if you get to a level where it is best to move on to a new zone? Will the guide now check your level or when you reach the max level for that zone you need to go and click the suggest button again? I'll probably think of more questions later But for now that's it.

I like updates in software and such I use regularly, but I'm wondering, before I get excited about this one ..... how much is it going to cost me in terms of thinning my wallet?

Thanks for answering my questions Zygor. Another question I have now that I think about it. How will we be starting out in a new zone where we don't have the quest for the new zone? Say that we have out leveled that zone and the screen pops up to ask if we want to move on. What quest will we start out with? Usually from what I know you have to complete a zone to get the quest that leads you to a new zone. But if we out level that zone and don't get that quest will there be a quest that we can take in that zone? We won't run into the problem of that there will be no quests because we didn't get that quest that leads us to that zone to open up the other quests? Or if there is that problem will the guide direct us to the boards in cities to pick up the quest that is there that will lead us to the new zone and we can continue from there?

The reason I asked that is because usually those end of quest hub's quests give us a free ride by flight master to the next quest hub and usually this also happens with quest that lead us to a new zone. Which saves a lot of time to get to the new quest hub or new zone. But if we have to go to the cities if we don't complete a zone or hub that's going to take some time to do unless you have your hearth stone set to one of the cities or your a mage and can teleport to the city.
