Bug Report: Talent Guide

Still can't my talent guide to work It wont make any suggestions and it says that the points I have already used dont match its configuration which is weird since I used it from the beginning to make this talent build.

A lot of the talent specs have recently been changed. If you don't mind spending the gold I'd suggest going to your trainer and resetting your spec. That would then get rid of the error about points not matching and then the Talent Advisor will show you where to spend points again.

I don't mind doing that, however I did not have to do that with my Fire Mage, and even when I check the ignore button it still does not make a suggestion. I will head to the training asap and report back my findings.

I don't think all of the specs were changed so that might account for not having to do anything with the fire spec.

One other possibility if resetting the talents doesn't work is that you might have a corrupted SavedVariables file. If this is the case go to your WoW/WTF/Account/accountname/SavedVariables folder and delete the ZygorTalentAdvisor.lua file located there. This will reset the Talent Advisor as if it was a fresh install so you'll have to re-select your spec again, but if there is any corruption in the SavedVariables file this will fix it by forcing the Talent Advisor to make a new one.

16 gold and deleting the lua seems to have fixed it...
