Professions Guide Question

How about a section in the Profession of the Guide that is a recipe list. You select that recipe and the guide will tell you how much you need and where to go farm it.

Hmm, this sounds like a Personlized list of every created item in the game. Not to say it would be impossible, but it is something we can look more into later. Thanks for the suggestions.

is there a way to farm a specific material?

I just bought the professions guide and hoped to be able to use it on my toons with max profession, to farm certain materials. I noticed on a lower mining toon that there is a path with arrows on the map to follow the route to mine cobalt, but once she passed cobalt, I couldn't find a way to get back to the cobalt map. Is there a way (or will there be in the future) to choose a certain ore/herb, etc and bring up the map for it with the route on it? I'm just too lazy to find on the web, print it, etc. :-) thanks

I don't know of a way currently but it will hopefully be setup like that in the future.
