Final Fantasy XIV

Any chance of a guide for Final Fantasy XIV in the future? I've been trying the game out on the free trial, and I'm trying to enjoy it, but I'm so lost, and the maps are so bad it's making it very difficult to enjoy the game.

Since there is no addon support in FF14 the chances of us creating guides for the game are extremely slim. If FF14 ever adds addon support then we may look into it but there is currently no way for us to create any kind of in game guide like we have for WoW.

Yes there is, you might not be able to use the game directly but you could put all your guides in an overlay on Overwolf. FFXIV is now more popular than WoW and you guys are missing a potentially huge revenue stream. Sorry for the necromancy but this popped up on Google and it's relevant.

The official Square Enix stance is that all addons and overlays (including ACT and Dalamud as the 2 most popular ones) are not allowed. Square Enix can ban anyone for using an addon/overlay that interacts with the game in any way (if they so choose to and they have in the past for people abusing it) and any guide would need to interact with the game. As long as the addons/overlays are against the ToS and EULA for the game the chances of us creating guides is very slim.
