Starcraft 2!

Anyone else going to be enjoying some Starcraft 2 this evening? :-D. I'm off work tomorrow so I know I'll be living in my computer room for some serious hours. I got the Collector's Edition online so I have to wait for the mail to run till' I can play it :-(.

I used to enjoy occasional time with that genera of game play. My RL friends and I had about 6-8 games we cycled through but the SC game was not played a whole lot, we always seemed to favor others.

So far none of us has even mentioned SC2 so my guess is that we won't be playing this one

PIcked up my CE at the local Best Buy last night at midnight, was up until 6 AM playing. The game is great, you should have a blast.

I hopped on WoW a little while ago and Dalaran was a ghost town on three different realms.

I wasn't a big Starcraft fan until I got invited to join the beta of Starcraft 2. It's just plain awesome, so I had to get a Collector's Edition. I played the living crap out of that beta, though, haha. Should tell your friends to give it a shot! :-D.

@raynman - Haha, that's awesome :-). I'm prolly' gonna play through the campaign since I've already experienced the multiplayer side. I can't wait :-).

Was waiting out the shops doors for 3 hours to get my Starcraft 2 Collectors Edition + got some free stuff.

Not play must of it yet, but was pretty fun the part i played

I always start off with the single player. Getting into the lore/storyline helps me enjoy the game a lot more.

I was SOOOOOO hoping that would happen. For some reason Blizz been sending new players to my realm and it has been full lately. I even hit the queu a few times over the last week or two. Insane. Let everyone go play SC2 so I can have my server back!

The ghost town sounds great until you trying try farming emblems in the random dungeon finder. I did some mining in Shlolzar and Icecrown today and found 4 stacks of Titanium Ore in about an hour. Even the chinese gold farm bots are playing Starcraft 2.

Right now I am only level 75.5 so I can only do one random per day for EoTs. As a tank I doubt there will be much queue time wait, and if there is I can always simply ask within my guild. I am sure that the newness of SC2 will wear off over time and things will get back to normal. For now this is a win-win for me no matter how you look at ghost towns

I tank as well, hooked up with a healer and for once have actually had a hard time trying to find DPS. I specced prot to avoid waits. Oh, the irony!

Got the dailies knocked out though. Might grind some rep with the vanilla factions for a few days while the newness of the game wears off.

Emblems of Triumph

You earn them for defeating bosses in Heroic dungeons and some raids. They are the key to gearing up when you hit 80.

Tanked 3 runs back to back. I did have a semi-long wait for the first run, took about four minutes. Still that is nothing compared to my DPS 15-25 minute queue times.

Although, SC2 needs to get busy sucking some people over. I was still 127th in the queue to LOG IN to warcraft tonight when I went to play. Stinking que

You get 2 EoTs for the first Normal WoLK LFG. So for right now I am only getting 2 per day. once you run heroic as ray said you can farm EoTs all day long. One per boss + 2 per clear... 5 per run typically.

Well, you can't actually farm them all day with heroics. Once you complete one of the heroic dungeons you get locked out for so long so if you run all of the heroic dungeons there's a good chance you'd still be waiting on your lock out timer before you could do another one. That said, there's something like 12 dungeons and at around 5 per run you're still looking at 60 per day possible.

as far as I know lockouts don't count for random dungeons. Unless that's been changed
