    Installation

    Can anyone help with installation issues? I'm a fairly new, casual WoW gamer. Just bought Burning Crusade expansion and it won't install. It just prompts you to play the game not install it. If I click on this play game button it takes me to the login screen as normal. Totally confused.
    Mature-not-so-computer-savvy-gamer.

    Log into ur account management on blizzard / battle.net and try updaten up account to TBC and then reinstall I forgot o updte my account for wotlk and it didn't work for me till I did. So all I can is say that hope it works!

      You shouldn't need to install anything - the current WoW client supports both BC and WotLK expansions. Just go to your battle.net account and choose the option to upgrade to BC. Then enter the serial number that came with the BC expansion pack and you're done.

      Next time you log in you should have the extra BC content available. You can try going through the blasted lands portal or sailing from Auberdine to Azuremyst Isle to test it.

        Well when I Installed tbc on my laptop long ago it wasn't supported lol
        but I haven't fooled around with much in a long time...if it works don't screw with it!
