It's taken me 2 hours to dl 4.0.1 so far. I expect to be done in time for the servers to be back up (so Blizz says) at 12:00 pm. I doubt they will be, though.

The update cleared up my Zygor problems although according to WoW it is still out of date. A loads of add-ons are having problems. Some of the biggest culprits I noticed were Pitbull, Gear Score, and quite a few of the buff/debuff add-ons seems to be causing problems as well. Between my experiences and chatting with people I have played with over time have found that some of these were causing frame rates in the single digits even in remote areas and random disconnects.
If you are using the Curse client it is saying that a lot of add-ons are current but when you check their respective pages an update has been released and it just hasn't been recognized by the client for some reason. Like the Zygor update these are still coming up as out of date but many still work just fine.
I am also saddened to report that Questhelper appears to be riding off into the sunset and heading for the add-on retirement home.My tanks:
