Help issues with frame rates on imac

hey first of all im having problems with my frame rates they have dropped down to 40fps to 60fps even if i turn everything down to fair
due to the new patch recently released 4.0.3 im annoyed at the fact before this update i can play smoothly playing on ultra and frame rates when exploring up to 80fps if not 90-100fps also with dungeons i will get 150-200fps my hardware is more than enough to handle wow
    im running of a 27inch imac i7,4gb ram,Ati 5750,
is this just a bug that apple needs to sort out?
    or is it my hardware?
i have heard rumors the new os x snow lepoard 10.6.5 may sort it out?
do you think this is true?
also all my in game icons such a spells, bags, are really small i dont understand
    please help someone!!!

I'm not sure about the imac stuff but I know that Blizzard changed some stuff around with the graphics that wasn't really announced (like your UI being smaller) and would surmise that your frame rate issues are caused by this.

To fix your UI size, use the UI Scale slider in your WoW graphics options.

60fps is plenty, but I haven't turn or the vertical sync yet so I don't now if more fps is better above 60

I'm on an imac and the new OS did nothing for me whatsoever, but looking on the WoW mac forum has helped some people.
