As a returning player I missed the memorandum about this...

When we go into the interface controls for WoW (press escape, click the interface button) there are "!" marks next to some of the categories we can tweek.

What are these representing?

Yea I believe any thing with a ! Has something new changed or is new in the tab

They are new features added to the various tabs in game. WoW is constantly changing and evolving, so these features are added to "streamline" the game.
