AddOn Creator Software?

Hello,

Me and my friend are looking to make some cool addons, beside Zygor.

Like maybe to see who is online of your my favorites friends, or just something cool you know.

As I'm new to wow, i love cool addons, my only one atm is zygor.
I'm thinking of making anything else, like just to learn how to make small addons or some.

If anybody knows a good Non-virused addon creator software please tell (should be working with newest patch please, so i wont get any problems as im noob)

All you need to great addons is notepad, which comes with Windows.

You'll need to learn Lua and XML which Zygor's team have learned.

Once you learn those, you can use the WoW API to do cool things. http://www.wowpedia.org/API

HOWEVER, you probably want to download addons others have made instead at http://wow.curse.com
