Webhallen's email is mistaken. You're absolutely safe to enter a retail key if you have managed to obtain one.

If you are redeeming a retail key on our site prior to Early Access, you will not see it immediately show up on your account page. As long as your key was accepted when you entered it (and you saw a message acknowledging that), you are all set for launch! The account page will update when Early Access begins on December 13th to reflect the code having been used.

Speaking on a completely unofficial base:

The discussion was maybe sometime in the future if the game draws enough to make it worthwhile. For the forseeable future, there is no addon API for SWTOR, so any guides would have to be an out-of-game experience.

And Zygor has stated that unless they make it where he can make it a in game guide for games then he won't be making one.

Personally I'd love to see one as well as I have the collector's edition for SWTOR on order. That said, the company's current stand on it is that we have to wait to see how well SWTOR does. There were a lot of requests for a Rift guide and it seems that Rift had a nice start but has since started to die off some. Guess too many people figured it was too much of a WoW clone or something. Right now we're just going to be watching SWTOR to see how it goes and if it continues to grow or does something like Rift and start to die off after a few months.

I don't know if we going to be staying or changing servers. We're Sith and seems like a lot of Jedi would be on there.

Yeah the other guildies still haven't responded to my tweets yet about the server list I sent them and I'm going to bed soon to get up at 5am in case I get in on the first wave. A couple of servers is probably a firm no though. Sith Meditation Chamber server is going to have Old Timers which is going to be 767 people split between two guilds. And AIE is going to be on Keller's Void they will have republic and a sith guild two for each faction so that will be a lot of people. Haven't got my email either but not supposed to. Here is the way it's going to happen:
From Bioware:
First: Early Game Access officially starts at 4AM PST / 6AM CST / 7AM EST / 12PM GMT / 1PM CET tomorrow. Emails will be sent around then.
Second: emails will go out after that point in in waves. Yes, we'll tell you when the emails will get sent via Forums/Twitter.
Third: No, not *everyone* will get in tomorrow. We are strictly allowing people admittance by when they redeemed pre-order code.
Fourth: All server types will be live tomorrow (PvP, PvE, RP-PvE, RP-PvP). All servers available to all (no EU-US or guild restrictions).
Fifth: If you're in a pre-imported guild, no, that doesn't get you priority access- but your guild server will be there when you get in.
Sixth: No, don't ask when you get in. We will let in a *lot* of people tomorrow - but not everyone. If you're not in Day One, don't explode.
Seventh: The Forums will be back up for all who have redeemed a pre-order code just before 7AM EST (AKA, Early Game Access start).
Eighth: Servers you'll see up tomorrow are NOT the final list. We'll be adding more during Early Game Access.
Ninth: I'm afraid I have no further updates on retailers and shipping, but it's moving about at very high levels. More tomorrow on that.
