Yeah, I got in with the 2pm wave so that means they should have completely finished off the November pre-order dates now since I had redeemed my code on 11/29.

Okay then. Tomorrow could be the last day of early access invites except for preorders that happen. Maybe 1-2 waves a day after tomorrow.

FAQ on #SWTOR mobile authenticators: we're aware of the issue setting them up, and we're working to fix!
Other FAQ on #SWTOR mobile authenticators: yes, Android and Blackberry versions are being worked on - no ETA to share yet though.
Third FAQ on #SWTOR mobile authenticators: sorry, no Windows 7 or Symbian versions currently planned.
We're really aware of the long call-times and frustration over security questions and answers. Working to improve and fix.

            From Bioware:
Hello everyone, we wanted to inform you of a couple of upcoming scheduled maintenance windows.

Generally speaking we are aiming to limit our scheduled maintenance period to once a week, on Tuesdays. We are aiming for this weekly maintenance period to take place in an off-peak time for both North American and European players. We are also aiming to inform players of the precise duration of any weekly maintenance period at least 24 hours before the maintenance begins.

The upcoming maintenance windows (detailed below) are exceptions, and are needed to prepare ourselves for our official launch on December 20th.
            Maintenance Window #1:

Date: Early hours of Friday, December 16th (CST)

            Time: 2AM CST (12AM PST/3AM EST/8AM GMT/9AM CET)

All game servers and SWTOR.com will be offline during this period. This maintenance is expected to take no more than two hours, but could be extended.
            Maintenance Window #2:

Date: Evening of December 19th (CST)

            Time: 6PM CST (4PM PST/7PM EST/12AM GMT/1AM CET)

All game servers and SWTOR.com will be offline during this period. This maintenance is expected to complete before 11PM CST, and will mark the end of Early Game Access for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™.
            Maintenance Window #3:

Date: Early hours of December 22nd (CST)

            Time: 2AM CST (12AM PST/3AM EST/8AM GMT/9AM CET)

All game servers and SWTOR.com will be offline during this period. This maintenance is expected to take no more than three hours, but could be extended.

Thanks for your patience as we maintain service for Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Damn 30min queue. Had been in earlier to create the character and it only took 5min to get in, but I had to exit and take care of other stuff before I could actually sit down to play. They really need to open more slots on the servers.

I got tired of the queue so created a toon on another server for now until things finally settle down for server population.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Security Key Setup

                            From Bioware:
Star Wars: The Old Republic Security Key

The Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Security Key provides an optional extra layer of security for your game account. The key generates a unique, time-sensitive, extra password for your account. This makes it more difficult for someone to gain access to your account through hacking or phishing attempts.

As a special bonus for adding this extra protection to your account, linking a Security Key to your account will give your characters access to the Security Vendor Stations in-game.

There are two types of Star Wars: The Old Republic Security Key available:

The Physical Security Key comes free with the Collector’s Edition of Star Wars: The Old Republic, and is available for purchase online, or through selected retail partners.
The Mobile Security Key is available for the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and certain Android and Blackberry devices.

To purchase a Security Key online, or to add a Security Key to your account, please visit our Security Key website.

For step by step instructions on how to set up a security key on your account, please read on.

To set up a Mobile Security key

Please go to our Security Key Setup page and log in to your account.

Click on ‘Set up a new Mobile Security Key’

Before you can continue, you will be asked to answer one of your Security Questions. This is to ensure that you are adding the key to your own account, and that the person adding the key is the account holder.

Having answered the Security Question correctly, you will be brought to the Mobile Security Key set-up page.

On this page, you will be asked to enter the serial number displayed on the screen into your Mobile Security Key smartphone application.

Next, you will need to enter the confirmation code displayed.

Next, you will need to input the code displayed by the Mobile Security Key App into the specified box on the webpage.

If the website then asks you for the serial number of your Security Key, please check the Information tab on the app, and tap 'Security Key Information', this will bring up a window containing 'Information for Tech Support', the serial number listed here is the one required by the website.

Click on ‘Save’ and your Mobile Security Key will now be confirmed as linked to your account.

To set up a Physical Security Key

Please go to our Security Key Setup page and click on ‘Set up a new Physical Security Key’.

You will be asked to answer one of your Security Questions before you can continue. This is to ensure that you are not setting up the Security Key on any account other than your own (this is especially useful when you are using a shared computer).

Once you have successfully answered the Security Question, you will be taken to the Physical Security Key set-up page.

On this page, you will be asked to input the code from the reverse of your Security Key, and then input the code generated by the Security Key into the webpage.

Click on ‘Save’ and the Security Key will now be confirmed as linked to your account.

If you have multiple accounts, you can choose the ‘Link a previously set-up security key’ option on the Security Key Setup page to link a physical security key you have already registered to another account.

Please note that this function only applies to Physical Security Keys, and each key may only be linked to a maximum of 5 Star Wars: The Old Republic accounts.
