Party Step Tracking

Without giving out too much info, I have been looking threw Zygor's source and found a possible function used to load the guide, however regarding the step matching, might have to use a loop to match steps. You already gather the information of what step your friends guide is on and your own (for the purpose of sharing) thus those 2 steps could be compared for a match and then call upon the Guide step functions to push the guide fwd or back 1 step. Unless I'm missing something I really don't see a jump to X guide with X step in there functions.
