Around step 40 we are sent into the Dead Mire to kill withered mobs. The current guide order is to kill loads of withered mobs until you get the Withered Basidium and 6 Bog Lord Tendrils. The next step is then to complete the Jyoba's Report quest which has you killing loads of Withered Giants until the report drops.
How about finding Scout Jyoba's body before the other steps, then you only have to do one lot of withered mob grinding to get all three things? That's what I've just done and it seemed a lot quicker
