It could also be they changed it too that you only need to discover them with one toon also so you didn't have too discover them on every toon.

Could you put steps into the guides to move to the entrances of the Cataclysm dungeons so they're unlocked?

Guild chat -- "hey, we got a tank, a healer, and some dps on, lets queue for some dungeons."
<"you've been invited">
party leader -- "no cataclysm dungeons are available for this group. what places has everyone found?"
me -- "I got to find my way there before I can queue?"

Need to take the mole machine from Hyjal (then come right back) for Blackrock.
Need to go down to the bottom of the whirlpool in Valsh'ir for Throne of the Tides.
Need to visit the three spots in Uldum.
Need to fly up to the entry in Deepholm to Stonecore.
Need to fly up to the enry to Grim Batol while in Twilight Highlands.

Would have been much easier to do it while I was in those zones rather than going back later to pick them up.

Thanks for the suggestion. Right now we feel that leveling with doing quests is the fastest and most reliable way to go. However, this may be something we could add in the near future if enough people think it is "needed". We'll have to wait and see with this one : )

I came here just to post the suggestion to make an extra guide for just the instance discovery.

I have 10 toons and that means I have to discover each instance for all 10.

It would be awesome to just follow a guide to do these at level 85.

An instance entrance guide is already on our wishlist. Either included in the leveling guide at appropriate steps or as a separate guide. Hopefully the Zygor teams hears our pleas

I think there is a youtube guide out there that "shows" you where to go but...a zygor one would be way better. When I can find the link I will edit this post with it or if you want to look for it thats fine also.

Zygor, if I come up with the coordinates and location where they will fit into the guide would you add them?
I agree this will be a huge help, as most people want to get a max level quick in order to raid.

I must agree with Kamchak as Dungeon runs can help level as also a good way to take a break from the (pardon the term) grind of questing. As stated I can find that video and post it here if anyone wishes. I just need to find it, as my son found it. Although from what he said when he uses it.

As of 4.0.6. This will no longer be needed:

From Blizzard:
* Dungeon discovery prerequisite removed
Players no longer need to discover Cataclysm dungeon entrances in order to access them via the Dungeon Finder.

Stupid Blizzard, I'm glad I only played 2 characters to 85 so far... I'm waiting for them to increase leveling speed from 80 to 85
