mines says "C:\Users\Craig\Desktop\World of Warcraft\" also having trouble using this on windows 8.

Are you sure that's correct? You have your WoW game installed onto your desktop?

I can't add my guides to my new Asus computer operating system is Windows 8. The error message is as follows.
AddOns folder not found
Your specified World of Warcraft AddONs folder does not exist.
Please find it and set a proper path in the settings.

How do I set this and should it be named, if so what should it's name be?

it shows......... "C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\"

Then the settings in the Zygor updater should be:
Addons folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns
Game executable: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\World of Warcraft Launcher.exe

(unless something has changed with windows 8 and the addons folder is in the users folder when installing WoW inside the program files)
