Error initializing - Goldguide-core lua 446 & 421 & viewer lua 653

Was fine this morning - but this afternoon Zygor is failing to load and auction sell tab is blank. Have done sync, scan & repair ..

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.


1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

Looks like that has worked - except for some reason things like automatically sell greys are greyed out and I can't tick them ..... but at least they are loading thank you

Ended up doing complete reinstall as I couldn't get at the scan repair etc features on the client - it is still showing the automatically sell greys as greyed out and won't let me select it ...

Try disabling all other addons so only Zygor is enabled. Sometimes another addon can prevent you from changing a couple of settings but we're not sure which addon or why.

Logged on this morning and it has happened again - any ideas why it happens?

Have all of your enabled addons had an update by the author within the last couple of months so they are current for the 7.1.5 game version? I'm guessing you have an outdated addon somewhere that is messing with things.

I do use curse to install addons and keep them up to date but I will double check. Seemed to sort itself out a lot easier this morning following the steps given initially so fingers crossed! Thank you for the help

Even tho Curse will make sure you always have the latest version of an addon there are still a lot of addons available thru Curse that are not updated for the current game version. You can easily find addons that the latest version is 1 or 2 years old.
